Breaking down the Prompt For Better Understanding

If you find these things complicated, I’ll explain and break down the first prompt for you. So you get the idea, how this prompting thing works.

1. Majestic {{mountain name}} range

This is the main subject of the prompt. By specifying “majestic” and allowing for a specific mountain name to be inserted, it sets the stage for a grand and impressive mountain landscape. The placeholder {{mountain name}} allows for customization, directing the AI to focus on a particular mountain range.

2. During golden hour

This specifies the time of day, which is crucial for lighting and mood. The golden hour, just after sunrise or before sunset, is known for its soft, warm, and flattering light, which enhances landscapes with a golden hue.

3. Sun setting behind peaks

This adds more detail to the lighting and composition. It creates a visual of the sun positioning, which can lead to dramatic backlighting and possibly silhouetting of the mountains, adding depth and drama.

4. Vibrant colors

This directs the AI to emphasize strong, vivid colors in the image, enhancing the visual appeal and making the scene more lively and dynamic.

5. Wide-angle, Nikon D850, f/11

These details simulate a specific photographic setup. A wide-angle lens is typically used for landscape photography to capture expansive scenes. Mentioning a specific camera model (Nikon D850) and aperture (f/11) implies a desire for high-quality, sharp images with a good depth of field, which is characteristic of professional landscape photography.

6. HDR (High Dynamic Range)

This suggests capturing a wider range of light and dark areas than a standard photograph, providing more details in the highlights and shadows. It’s a common technique in landscape photography to handle challenging light conditions, like sunsets.

7. –ar 16:9

This is the aspect ratio parameter. 16:9 is a wide aspect ratio, common in landscape photography, providing a broad, cinematic view of the scene.

8. –v 5.2 or 6.0

This indicates the version of the Midjourney model to use. Version 6.0 is the latest and most advanced at the time of this prompt, suggesting it could provide the best quality or most desired results.
